From Life utilizes a live model to explore the human figure from different points of view. Benefit from the experience and leadership of regional artist Deborah Atkinson. Emphasis is on traditional life drawing but From Life also includes opportunity for experimentation. All levels of experience are welcome.

A watercolour class for beginner to intermediate artists. We supply the paper, paint and brushes; you bring your enthusiasm. Regional artist Jennie Clark will demonstrate various watercolour techniques such as washes, glazing, wet in wet, drybrush and more. A photography programme for adults. Have you ever wanted to get that perfect shot at a special event, but didn’t know how? Professional photographer Andre Beneteau will demonstrate the mechanics of the camera, including how to select the best feature to maximize your options.
Subject matter will include still life, portraiture and how to dynamically capture action, landscape and architecture. Participants must bring their own camera, whether regular or digital. This course will also investigate design principles for dynamic composition, encouraging new discoveries...

Join Marie Belcourt and Marilyn Ruyter of Flowers & Sense to learn how to create your own dynamic contemporary flower arrangements. Classes will include an introduction to floral ideas, terminology and tools. You will learn about design, balance, colour and space as well as a variety of styles. Take home your own unique arrangements.
