Stories from Home is a free program. All participants are welcome to join.

Join us for a weekly storytelling circle exploring ideas of housing, migration, and what exactly makes a place a home – central themes from the forthcoming fall exhibition House for Sale. While sharing stories amongst the group, participants will also work together to help make one of the exhibition’s central installations, Black Grass.

Each week participants will receive a new story prompt that will inform the stories that are shared and discussion that follows. This unique activity is an opportunity to meet new people, express yourself, reflect on current local realities, and learn from the experience of others. Participants are encouraged to attend all three weeks of the session, when possible, to build connections with other participants.
