Description

Phil Hoffman

Working with photographic materials, regional filmmaker Phil Hoffman will lead a workshop allowing you to engage in collective art creation processes specifically using found plant and flower materials. Through a process called Phytography, plant materials are used to imprint directly onto the film or photographic paper, creating a performative montage effect. Participants work on their own and collaboratively to create phytogram-based still and moving images, that represents the region and the action of working together.
