Description

Dr. Jill Price is a local interdisciplinary artist and educator grateful to be living on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe Odawa, Ojibwe, and Potawatomi Nations in Barrie, Ontario. Inspired by years spent playing on the beach as a child and competitive beach volleyball player, Price has been conducting beach cleans to help protect the sandy shores and bodies of water she has come to love. Currently exhibiting at the MacLaren Art Centre with her exhibit Jill Price: Between Here and There: Walking for Tomorrow, stop by the centre to view other works that document how she works to care for the environment while creating an exhibition.
