Join the MacLaren Patron Circle
The MacLaren Art Centre’s Patron Circle is a dedicated group of arts and culture enthusiasts who support the MacLaren with annual donations of $1000 or more. These generous individuals provide critical support for MacLaren programmes and a growing collection of art, creating a legacy for current and future generations.
The Patron Circle shares a commitment to having a world-class art gallery in Barrie and helps ensure that the MacLaren continues to offer exceptional and accessible arts education for all ages.

Curator’s Circle : $1,000 to $2,499 annually
- Invitation for two to attend an exclusive dinner with the artists and contributors
- Invitation for two to attend the annual curator’s tour of Toronto art galleries
- Invitation for two to attend the annual tour of an artist’s private studio
- Recognition as a member of the Curator’s Circle in the MacLaren Annual Report and on the Annual Donor Wall
- Charitable donation receipt for the full value of your donation
- All of the privileges of a Sustaining Friend of the MacLaren
Collector’s Circle: $2,500 to $4,999 annually
- Invitation for two to attend a personal behind-the-scene tour of the MacLaren’s Permanent Collection
- Invitation for two to attend the annual tour of a private, public or corporate collection
- Recognition as a member of the Collector’s Circle in the MacLaren Annual Report and on the annual Donor Wall
- All of the privileges of the Curator’s Circle
Director’s Circle: $5,000 to $9,999 annually
- Recognition as a lead supporter of a Gallery programme of your choice
- Advance reservations for the annual Black Tie Gala and the Legacy Dinner
- Recognition as a member of the Director’s Circle in the MacLaren Annual Report and on the Annual Donor Wall
- All of the privileges of the Collector’s Circle
President’s Circle: $10,000+ annually
- Complimentary use of the MacLaren’s main floor for a private party or corporate reception
- Complimentary one-year lease of an artwork from the MacLaren’s Art Rental programme
- Recognition as a member of the President’s Circle in the MacLaren Annual Report and on the Annual Donor Wall
- All of the privileges of the Director’s Circle
