Watch regional artist Linda Laforge create a drawing in real time! At the MacLaren, she will capture the creative energy and essence of activities taking place. Visitors will be both subject and witness to the art coming to life on the large screen, as mirrored on her iPad.

A process video will be created, showing every paint stroke from blank canvas to completion.

Description

When traditional and digital artist Linda Laforge isn’t creating heirloom portrait commissions, she’s painting and writing. She is a storyteller. Her original work melds portraiture with her love of Celtic knot design to tell the stories of her subjects, mainly climate activists and heroic figures offering visual commentary on this time we live in.
