Description
Becky Lisk (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on sculptural works that explores a variety of social issues that should be addressed, warrant discussion or evoke change. Growing up on a farm in Bradford Ontario, Becky is fascinated with utilizing industrial materials in both traditional and non-traditional forms throughout her work, with an interest in how metal can relate to delicate topics or artwork. After pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an English Literature minor at the University of Windsor, in Windsor, Ontario, Becky remained there to immerse herself into the Windsor arts scene. During this time, she showcased her work in group exhibitions, established an alumni volunteer program with the University of Windsor’s sculptural department, and gained experience as President of the School of Creative Arts in 2016. Becky proceeds to explore opportunities to teach and share the arts within Simcoe County where she is currently living and working as she continues to emerge as an artist.
