Learn the basics of watercolour painting while taking in the great outdoors! Join local artist Emily Cornish as she walks you through how to create watercolour landscapes out in the fresh air. We’ll start out onsite at the Maclaren for the first week to learn the basic skills of value, colour mixing and creating your own plein air kit. We will then spend 2 weeks on location, outside, where we will paint the world around us! Emily will guide you through picking a spot, choosing a colour palette, right into creating your painting, giving you the confidence to go out and paint on your own! No experience necessary!
