Join Tanya Gluvakov for a very special workshop in acknowledgement of Earth Day! Gluvakov will guide participants in the techniques of clay hand-sculpting to create their very own seed bomb with wildflower or sunflower seeds and compost. Children will also learn all about seed sovereignty and responsibility to the pollinators and the land.

Description

Tanya Gluvakov is a mixed-nation Mohawk woman with roots and family from Six Nations. Her motivation to teach, create and help with Indigenous medicine resurgence projects comes from her connection to her grandmother Betty, who taught her she could stand up and do hard things. She owns and operates Roots + Raven.
