Join us this winter for a creative series inspired by the trees around us that bring colour into winter ~ The Pines! Throughout the series we will make connections as we visit Towards Emergent Futures, a current nature-focused collaborative exhibition featuring artists Christina Battle, Judy Anderson, Emily Pelstring & Naomi Okabe. We will create sculptures, paintings and prints all based around pines like the famous Jack Pine, Ontario’s Provincial tree, the White Pine, and the beloved & fragrant Blue Spruce. Local artist and nature lover Emily Cornish will lead the participants on a 4-week adventure through the gallery spaces and unique art making processes.
