In conjunction with Culture Days, join Tanya Gluvakov for a very special Family Sunday. Families will gather and engage in light conversation about ways that we allow ourselves to put down something heavy for awhile, as we transition into shorter and colder days. We will chat about cedar and how it can help ground us. Tanya will share a story about the canoe and how we can remember the teachings when thinking about what rest means to us. Tanya will guide families in the creation of a special pinch pot clay canoe that will make the teachings all come together.

Description

Tanya Gluvakov is a mixed-nation Mohawk woman with roots and family from Six Nations.
