Marlene Hilton Moore: has defined a distinctive profile in Canadian visual arts marked by outstanding achievements at local and national levels, particularly in the complex arena of Public Art and Monuments.
Marlene has been a recipient of many Public Art Commissions over the last twenty years. Significant works include the prestigious Valiants Memorial in Ottawa, Two Freedoms, McMurtry Gardens of Justice in Toronto, Wiidookdaadiwin in Simcoe County, The Volunteers, Halifax and Ad Astra, a monument to the 100th Anniversary of the RCAF, CFB Borden.
Marlene Hilton Moore has an extensive public exhibition schedule of solo and group exhibitions. Her sculptural and photographic work engages the human form, with a focus on the stereotypes that pressure women in today’s society as well as concerns regarding our human relationships as a whole.
In 2014 Hilton Moore received the City of Barrie’s Excellence in Arts Award. In 2010 she retired from teaching at the School of Design and Visual Arts, Georgian College following a distinguished 25-year teaching career.

Ray Dillard has toured internationally for over four decades. Late 2025 saw the release of Flying, a project featuring Ray with collaborators Doug Romanov and James Metcalfe. His projects included several video and audio recordings of the music of American composer Steve Reich, in celebration of Steve’s 85th birthday. This work features a website co-developed by Ray featuring the history, significance, and future of Reich’s seminal work Drumming on its 50th Anniversary. Dillard has also completed his 20th recording project for the renowned percussion ensemble NEXUS, a group he has been working with since 1983.
Ray’s considerable recording credits include Grammy and Juno nominated projects with artists and ensembles from the United States, South America, Europe, Japan and Canada. He has completed his fifth project with the TorQ Percussion Quartet, this time with The Elora Festival choir. He completed a new solo recording with The Elora Singers in the summer of 2023. Ray’s non-classical projects include projects for Julia Crafton, Don Bray, Hawkins Johnston, Beth McKeen, Ed Moll and Martha Johnson of Martha and The Muffins fame. His acoustic jazz recordings include Ellis Marsalis, Paul English, Bruce Dudley, Joe LoCascio, and Marvin Stamm. His work includes such diverse styles as Symphonic, Pop, Jazz, Experimental, Roots and World Music. For over 25 years, Ray has been active as one of the three founding members of the experimental music ensemble JMR Abstract, having produced both of their CD releases. This ensemble created a great deal of material “virtually” during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Ray currently resides in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. He is a principal instrument designer for Dream Cymbals and Gongs Inc., a Toronto based cymbal manufacturing company. He also produces and plays on numerous recording projects. He continues to be fascinated by many aspects of physics.
