Part of Carnegie Days 2019: Book Club
Presented for Culture Days

In celebration of Carnegie Days, the MacLaren Art Centre is pleased to present Ex Libris, an exhibition of works created by the professional artists who lead our art programmes for children, youth and adults at the Gallery, in schools and in the community.

For this show, the participating artists have considered the phrase Ex Libris—“from the library of”—in many personal ways to create works that are inspired by language, the ways narratives are shared and choice books from their personal collections.

Artworks on view are by André Beneteau, Margaret Ferraro, Midori Fullerton, Sean George, Sarah Hawley, Christina Luck, Claudia Mandler-McKnight, Meaghan Paterson, Heather Riley and Janine Wheeler.
