Sue Miller, Ebb & Flow, oil on wood panel, 46 x 46 inches

Sue A. Miller has been a painter and art educator for twenty years. She uses contemplative practice, texture, and the interplay of colour to express a primal connection to the natural world. Her work, both in subject matter and motive, is heavily influenced by the landscape around her. From her childhood on the shores of Lake Couchiching to her current studio in Creemore, Ontario and her summer home in Newfoundland, Miller immerses herself in these environments before she paints.
