Program Cancellations & Refunds

Program cancellation and refund policy:

Requests for cancellations or refunds for MacLaren programs must be made in writing and submitted to Natalie Fisher: natalie@maclarenart.com. They must include the program name, participant name and reason for cancellation.

  • Cancellation requests received more than 14 days prior to the program start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellation requests received less than 14 days prior to the start of the program will receive a refund of 50% of the cost of the program including applicable taxes.
  • No refunds will be given once a program has begun, or for days when a participant is absent and missed days cannot be made up.
  • If a program must be cancelled after it has begun due to medical reasons, the written request must be accompanied by a doctor’s note and is subject to review.

Any programs cancelled outright by the MacLaren Art Centre are eligible for a full refund regardless of the cancellation date.

Due to the current and evolving situation around COVID-19, classes may be delayed or moved online to ensure safety of participants and staff. No refund will be offered when a program is still available in an alternative format unless extraordinary circumstances deem it reasonable.
