Inspired by Canadian artist Rita Letendre

In this programme, students will be inspired by the abstract paintings of Indigenous artist Rita Letendre. Participants will explore the style of hard-edge abstraction on an 11 x 14 inch canvas board using masking tape as a tool to paint clean shapes, lines and overlapping edges. Emphasis is on positive form and negative space, transparency, colour theory and geometric shapes.
