Participants can follow along with artist Sarah Hawley to create their own custom shrinking key chains, using recycled plastic, markers and a little imagination! Some adult assistance required.

Art materials for 3 children provided, available via curbside pickup at 37 Mulcaster Street, Barrie.

Materials provided by the MacLaren Art Centre:

• 3 x #6 recycled plastic sheets
• 3 x 5”x5” square papers
• 3 x small keychain rings
• 3 x twist ties
• 1 pack of markers
• 3 pencils
• Extra MacLaren goodies

Materials you will need from home:

• Drill (adult use only)
• A hard surface to drill on
• Oven (adult use only)
• An oven-safe dish or baking sheet
• Aluminum foil
• Scissors
• A glass or ceramic cup (not plastic)
• Safety Pins (optional)
• String/necklace chain (optional)
• Earring hooks (optional)
