Elaine Bremer

Elaine Bremer is a graduate of the 3 year adult art program at Central Technical School in Toronto which, in early years, was where some of the Group of Seven taught. She is currently based in Orillia and has exhibited in the Women’s Show at OMAH since moving there 8 years ago.

She has always been creative in a wide range of mediums, from fabric and mixed media to welding metal sculptures and work in clay, leading workshops in Raku and sculpture. A prairie girl of Mennonite background, her focus in her art is influenced by her farm origins. She is currently working on establishing a community Makerspace to serve the Orillia area.
