Bring vivid colours to the surface amidst the snowy winter ~ painting a nostalgic garden!  Join local artist Shauna Umney-Gray for a colourful & creative painting workshop. You will learn how to compose and paint a lush garden background, then layer in detailed, specific flowers from your own reference photos. Guided by your personal photographs, you will create a personalized painting of a meaningful garden, from a grandmother’s yard to your own backyard paradise. All skill levels are welcome.

Description

Artist Shauna Umney-Gray is a live wedding painter and educator, with over 15 years of experience as an art instructor. A graduate of Georgian College Fine Arts and holder of a BFA from NSCAD University, Shauna’s work focuses on capturing meaningful moments and the essence of special places with skill and emotional depth.
