Join us for a guided tour of Lost and Found: The Inner Child, followed by a seated discussion about the nostalgic childhood artefacts, colourful artworks, and themes of change, imagination, and care. Learn about the behind-the-scenes, reflect on the inner child of Simcoe County, and share your personal connections.

Hear from the student curators of Georgian College’s Museum and Gallery Studies program, and Kelley Swift-Jones, Simcoe County Museum’s Executive Director and Curator.

You are welcome to bring your lunch or purchase food / beverages from The Lazy Tulip.

Description

To improve the experiences of youths in our community, this exhibition is collecting donations for Youth Haven, an organization sheltering and supporting underhoused youth. Donations may be left in the donation bin near the exhibition, or at the front desk. Donations accepted include: bus passes, non-perishable foods, kitchen wares, gently used bedding (blankets, pillows, pillowcases), hygiene products (nail clippers, pads/tampons), and clothing (shoes, work boots, jackets, new socks and underwear).
