William Kingfisher, an independent curator and artist of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, will give a walking tour of Arthur Shilling: The Final Workson view at the MacLaren Art Centre.

William Kingfisher holds a MA from Carleton University and has taken a leave of absence from his PhD work in the Indigenous Studies Department at Trent University to curate Arthur Shilling: The Final Works and pursue independent research. Recent projects include creating gardens of traditional foods to engage in discussions on the relationship of art and the everyday world, traditional ecological knowledge, eco-aesthetics, Indigenous methodology and participatory art.

With larger groups, all attendees may be hosted in an alternate gallery space, where food or drink is not permitted.
