Engaging diverse audiences is an integral part of Sean George’s artistic practice. In this presentation, he will share his perspectives and experiences in creating initiatives with local communities.

Artist and art educator Sean George was born in Brooklyn, New York, has lived in Trinidad, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto. From 1995 to 2010, George worked at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the Public Programmes and Education Department, facilitating school and adult programmes. He continues to exhibit his photo-based work and is currently working on an artist’s book.

Please note: For groups, please notify the Gallery one week in advance as seating is limited in the Education Centre. With larger groups, all attendees may be hosted in an alternate gallery space, where food or drink is not permitted.
