On November 17 at the MacLaren Art Centre in downtown Barrie, over 150 artworks by more than 100 artists from across Ontario will fill the galleries for the 27th annual Off the Hook: Silent Art Auction. Bidders can also try their luck at winning gift certificates, jewellery and a selection of great prizes from local retailers. Drawing on the considerable musical talents of members of Barrie’s financial services and medical professions, our annual Battle of the Bands is one of the most celebrated live musical events of the year in Barrie. Proceeds from the event support the MacLaren Art Centre, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and the
Kempenfelt Rotary Club. Tickets $60, available at the MacLaren on February 5.
