Join us for a stimulating conversation with Robert Zeidler, Managing Partner at the Dabbet Group. Robert’s main focus is the Cotton Factory, a 118 year-old cotton mill complex located at 270 Sherman Avenue North in Hamilton, Ontario. The goal of Robert and his team is to repurpose these historic buildings into an industrial strength, creative community by crafting an affordable and supportive environment in which to work and create.

Rob is active in the Hamilton arts community.  He has provided a studio for a local artist residency program, as well as for an international artist exchange between Hamilton and Estonia, both in partnership with the Hamilton Arts Council. The Cotton Factory was established to foster the creativity of Hamilton's emerging artists, as well as provide inspiring studios for established artists.  With dozens of artist and maker studios, the Cotton Factory has created an industrial strength, creative community in the industrial East End of Hamilton.  It has been chosen for the launch of this year’s Hamilton Arts Week, featuring a night market with over 30 artist's and makers, interactive art & live performances. Rob's vision for the Cotton Factory is already attracting artists from across the province.  Rob is also a Director-at-Large with the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
