This Saturday, August 17th, catch the MacLaren at the Barrie Pride Parade! Beginning at 2 pm, MacLaren Youth and the Education Team will march through the streets of downtown Barrie with the Sarjeant Company, proudly displaying student-made artworks that memorialize and celebrate queer visual artists. These artworks were made during the spring session of W-Edge: a free, drop-in art programme for youth ages 14 to 18, hosted at the MacLaren and led by a regional artist.

Special thanks to The Sarjeant Co Ltd. and Gilbert Centre for partnering with us to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community!
