Rotary Education Centre
Reception: Saturday, September 20, 2 to 4 pm

In celebration of Culture Days, the MacLaren Art Centre is pleased to present The Self-Portrait, a faculty group exhibition featuring artworks exploring iterations of the self, from the literal to the abstract—translating identity and representation into visual form. These artworks were created by the professional artists who teach our programmes for children, youth and adults at the Gallery, in schools and in the community.  The participating artists include André Beneteau, Tanya Cunnington, Michael Farnan, Sean George, Lois Green, Clayton Samuel King, Christina Luck, Claudia Mandler McKnight, Bernadette Wells and Julie Wilson.Join us for our Culture Days Open House and reception for The Self-Portrait on Saturday, September 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Meet the artists and participate in an exhibition-based art activity for families.
