Orillia artist Tanya Cunnington, Owner/Director of Lee Contemporary Art Gallery, will provide an insider view on running an artist-space.

Tanya Cunnington received her Associates Degree from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2001. Cunnington works in paint, collage, phototransfers and found object assemblage. Her practice is inspired by personal events in her life. Cunnington is also one half of “Birdbath Collaboration” and co-curator of The Still Parade, an annual exhibition held at the Arthur Shilling Gallery in Rama, Ontario. She exhibits with Loop Gallery in Toronto, and was the 2015 recipient of the John Hartman Award through the MacLaren Art Centre.

Call ahead at (705) 720-1044 ext. 250 to pre-order your lunch at the Gallery Café. Please note: For groups, please notify the Gallery one week in advance as seating is limited in the Education Centre. With larger groups, all attendees may be hosted in an alternate gallery space, where food or drink is not permitted.
