Art Club encourages students to develop their art-making abilities in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media. Participants are given the opportunity to explore their creative potential in collaboration with Barrie artist Julie Robb.
Artist bio
While completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Julie Robb worked with the MacLarenArtCentre to implement its Family Drop-in Programme in 2005. She also designed and instructed the March Break camp for primary/junior in 2007 and 2008. Julie spent the summer of 2010 developing and initiating a variety of Artrageous and Art Quest summer camp programmes for children ages six to fourteen. She is devoted to helping children learn and grow in an encouraging environment, and to presenting the arts as an integral part of a full and satisfying childhood.
