Art Start has been introducing art making for over 15 years and is designed to engage and challenge imaginations. Sessions are led by regional artist Julie Robb to include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media. This is eight weeks of art-making fun!

This programme is designed to foster the creativity of pre-school children. Each session will feature a hands-on activity using different materials and methods. Join Cartoonist/illustrator Bob Kain as he leads the aspiring cartoonist to explore drawing real-life characters and objects in exaggerated ways. In this engaging programme, participants will then use these new cartooning skills to create one final masterpiece.
ARTIST BIO: Bob Kain is a freelance cartoonist/illustrator living and working in Barrie. He has been involved with most forms of cartooning for many years. This morning half-day programme includes a variety of projects to work on each day. Local artist Jenn Guerin, introduces media and art making activities including painting, drawing and printmaking.
