The MacLarenArtCentre in Barrie is Simcoe County’s public art gallery and draws 40,000 visitors annually — including 16,000 children and youth — for its exhibitions, classes, lectures, tours and special events. Located in downtown Barrie, the MacLaren is a cultural and architectural landmark in this region, attracting tourists from across the province.
